At Hadar's glow when it comes to permanent hair removal, we tailor each client's treatment to their unique hair and skin type to provide the most effective results, using gentle, painless, non-invasive solutions to remove your unwanted hair professionally.

As the technology of hair removal advances at the speed of light, many hair removal methods do not provide the desired results; that is why we established Hadar's glow ! With over 10 years of experience, knowledge and research, we picked the most advanced technology on the hair removal market called the GEM-IPL (Geometrical Energy Management- Intense Pulse Light), which allows us to treat most skin and hair types and gives us the pleasure of satisfying our clients with the safe, pain-free, fast and long lasting results they deserve.

GEM–PL technology manages to deposit most of the energy in a plane coinciding with the position of the hair follicles. The broadband enables the treatment in hair types which are traditionally hard to treat, such as feathery hair or bright hair. Unlike other laser machines that just scatter energy on the skin, the GEM-PL concentrates a bulk of energy under the skin enabling selective targeting of the hair follicles, providing you with pain-free, optimal, longer lasting results.
Making our bodies look attractive and beautiful becomes really easy nowadays. There are an overwhelming number of options when it comes to
hair removal; shaving, waxing, bleaching and plucking is all methods of the past. Don’t get left behind!

How Does It Work?

Investigations (by Anderson, et Al) have clearly demonstrated that a flash of high intensity light penetrated through the epidermis is absorbed, assimilated in the hair bulbous region and acts as an inhibitor to the hair follicle through temporary temperature rise and agglutination.

There are several parts of the hair follicle that interest us:

Dermal Papilla:
Directs and dictates the embryonic generation of a hair follicle and it also retains its instructive ability throughout the life of the hair follicle. It consists of a highly active group of cells shown to be capable of inducing follicle development from the epidermis and production of hair fiber.

The bigger the Dermal Papilla is, the more cells it has, the thicker the hair fiber that the hair follicle produces.

Basement Lamina:
A thin layer of cells that separates the Dermal Papilla form the hair sheath cells, providing a barrier between the dermis and epidermis.

Matrix Cells:
Epidermal derived cells close to the Dermal Papilla. These cells remain undifferentiated and focus on multiplying and proliferating to produce more cells. Those cells made in the center of the hair follicle are destined to become part of the hair fiber and are called Cortex (cortical) cells.

Cortex Cells:
These aimed to become a part of the hair fiber. As these cells multiply, they are squeezed together into layers (lamella). These cortex cells become keratinized and harden. As they do so it becomes impossible for the cells to function properly and the cells die.

The keratinized cells are then pushed away from the hair bulb region and upwards as new cells come in behind, which is the hair that we see.

Capillaries:
Small blood vessels that bring food and oxygen to the hair follicles.

The GEM Pulse Light Targets:

•    The follicle by coagulating the melanocyte and matrix cells.

•    Clotting the follicle capillaries with heat energy, which means less food and oxygen to the hair follicle.
•    Triggering matrix cells to operate calcium pumps and exhaust the cell’s energy, resulting in inhibition of the cellular
metabolism.

Those three processes back up one another, so if one does not provide results, the two others will. The GEM Pulse Light penetrates the epidermis and absorbs in the cells causing elimination of the hair follicles.

The darkest area (the matrix cells, which produce the hair fiber) will absorb more of the GEM-IPL energy. Due to fact, our hair removal system works to eliminate unwanted hair permanently, because it loosens the hair “from the root of the problem,” and disables the cells responsible for new hair growth.

This technology is used successfully on most hair and skin types.

Treatment Procedure:

During the treatment, you will be asked to put on protective eyewear. A layer of chilled gel is applied to the area to cool the skin and allow the light to more easily penetrate the skin surface. The machine handle is placed against the skin and a short pulse of light is released. The handle is moved to the neighboring area until the entire area has been treated.

Most patients describe the sensation of the light pulses as moderate and acceptable. No anesthesia is required.

Additionally, we can treat larger skin portions at a time, so areas like the legs and back can be treated in a fraction of the time required with standard lasers.

Expected Results:

After only a few GEM-IPL sessions, you will notice the hair grows thinner and lighter. About eight sessions are required to achieve the majority of the hair loss. However, depending on the area treated and skin and hair type, Hadar's glow’s specialists will advise you with the amount of sessions required to maximize your optimal results.

At the end result you'll see a significant reduction in hair growth on the areas treated.
